Who are we? What do we stand for?
migra e.V. – language, education and integration for Migrants in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
We are Immigrants of different national-cultural origins and Germans who are committed to a joint effort for a democratic, pluralistic and intercultural society. Therefore we founded during summer 2007 in Rostock the registered organization “migra e.V. – language, education and integration” for Migrants in Mecklenburg – Vorpommern.
We believe that language skills and professional education are crucial keys for a successful integration, that’s where we place the emphasis of our work.
All founding members have extensive experiences to design and accompany integration processes at regional, federal and european level. We use our specialised and empirical knowledge, our good connection to Migrants and our thourough understanding of structures and institutions to develop pragmatic solutions, which will improve the chances and perspectives for Migrants.
